Heated Tent Rentals: Outdoor Winter heated events

We were unable to get Iowa One Call out in time to check the ground to stake before we set-up this event with a 30′ x 30′ frame tent. We had to use Block and Roll dead weight on this windy and cold (temperature outside was 23.4 °F and dropping) day. We added a 290,000 BTU diesel tent heater and a 6500 Watt Honda super-quiet generator because multiple electronic devices under the tent were tripping circuit breakers. We added multiple sand bags at the base of the solid sidewalls to stop the wind from blowing under.

For cold temperatures like today, Big Ten Rentals recommends the use of a Hybrid tent or Clearspan structure because of the difference in the sidewall design. They let out much less heat and do not require sandbags at the base because the walls are stretched vs. wrapped around the tent.
