Big Ten Rentals is now utilizing the employee time tracking app, TimeTrakGO, and this is required moving forward. To get started, download the app by selecting your OS.

How to use TimeTrakGO

Enable GPS


Allow “TimeTrakGO Mobile” to use your location by selecting “Allow While Using App” when prompted.

NOTE: GPS must be enabled.

Sign In

In the TimeTrakGO app, use “bigtenrentals” as your TimeTrakGO website. Then add your email address or login ID in the second field. Add the password that you created and click “Log In.”

Note: You should have received an email from TimeTrakGO Help<help@timetrakgo.com> and clicked on the link “Create Password” within that email to set up your password.

Failed Login and Locked Out

If you see the dialog box saying “Log in failed! Your password is locked. Please contact your administrator,” you will need to call a manager at Big Ten Rentals to have them unlock your account and allow you back into the system.

How to Clock In

To clock in using TimeTrakGO, log in to your employee portal or mobile app. On the main Time Clock screen, select the “Clock In” option. If using the browser-based kiosk mode, enter your 4-digit PIN after selecting your name, then choose “Clock In.” A confirmation message will appear once the punch is accepted. Ensure GPS location sharing is enabled if required by your employer for mobile clock-ins.

How to Clock Out

To clock out, access the Time Clock interface in the mobile app or web portal. Select the “Clock Out” option. In kiosk mode, enter your PIN and choose “Clock Out.” You’ll see a confirmation, and your total hours for the shift will be recorded. If you’re clocked in for a break, ensure you’ve ended the break first.

How to Start Break

To start a break (such as a lunch or meal break), go to the Time Clock screen in the mobile app or kiosk. Select “Out for Break” or “Start Break” (this may appear as a dedicated button depending on your setup). This records the start of your break time. Breaks can be clocked manually or auto-deducted based on your employer’s pay policy settings.

How to End Break

To end a break, return to the Time Clock interface and select “Back From Break” or “End Break.” In kiosk mode, enter your PIN and choose the appropriate option. This resumes your work time tracking. If a break is not ended properly, it may affect your hours calculation, so always confirm the punch.

What is the “Time Clock” button used for?

The “Time Clock” button provides access to the main time tracking interface where employees can perform standard functions like clocking in, clocking out, starting breaks, and ending breaks. It displays your current status, GPS location (if enabled), total hours for the pay period, and last punch details. This is the primary tool for real-time punch management via web, mobile, or kiosk.

What is the “Time and Hours” button used for?

The “Time and Hours” button opens a section for viewing your worked hours and punch details. It shows total hours broken down by pay codes for the current pay period, with options to navigate past or future periods using arrows or calendar views (e.g., this week, last month, today). Click on a specific day to see detailed punches, including in time, out for break, back from break, out time, and daily totals. It’s view-only for employees and helps you review your time card without editing capabilities.

What is the “Time Off Center” button used for?

The “Time Off Center” button is for managing paid time off (PTO), vacation, sick leave, and other accruals (available on the Plus plan with PTO Accrual Tracking enabled). It allows you to view available PTO balances at the top, with breakdowns by pay code (e.g., opening balance, taken, or committed days). You can also submit time off requests, which alert managers for approval. Access it from the mobile app or self-service menu to check details and plan requests.
