Frequently Asked Questions & Terms
Looking for: Tent FAQs?
What is the difference between a quote and a reservation?
- A reservation with a paid deposit guarantees the availability of the equipment for your event.
- A quote is not a guarantee but can be the first step. A quote allows you to discuss the pricing and specifications with your family, group, or committee prior to obligating either yourself or Big Ten Rentals.
How much will I need to put down for a deposit to hold the equipment?
Most items require a 35% deposit to hold the items. The full balance is due 8 days prior to the event to allow for scheduling. Items not paid for eight days in advance will not be scheduled for delivery. For larger events, please speak with our staff to work out a payment plan.
What happens if I need to cancel the rental item?
Cancellations can be made anytime 1 week prior to the reservation with only the loss of the 35% deposit. Cancellations made after will be subject to full contract payment.
Do you charge a damage deposit?
Some, but not all items require a damage deposit.
Sound equipment and Trailers are a few examples.

Do you need a permit for a tent?

Could I buy something from BIG TEN RENTALS, instead of renting it?
