We were called to set up a charity event for the JDRF One Walk held in Des Moines, IA on May 16th, 2015. It’s a fundraising walk to help eliminate type 1 diabetes. We set up a 40′ x 40′ hybrid tent, tables, chairs, and other frame tents as well.
We set up this 40′ x 60′ Hybrid event tent with three 2′ x 2′ x 2′ blocks. Because of the ever-changing weather in Iowa, they needed a patio heater to take the chill out of the air at night, and to keep them going we sent four 20lb propane tanks.
What do they say about people who live in glass houses? People who live in glass houses… get air conditioning for their wedding when it takes place on one of the hottest days so far this year. Temperatures are slated to get into the mid 90s. Can you imagine how hot this wedding could have been inside…
We set up this “One Walk” event every year for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We set up our 20′ x 40′ frame tent, 20′ x 20′ frame tent, 30′ x 45′ frame tent and our 40′ x 40′ hybrid jumbo track, along with several other items for this event as well.
We find it flattering when a well-respected event company like Morris & Company Entertainment contacts Big Ten Rentals for its business needs. We are glad that Morris & Company put its reputation in our hands.

We sent 38 bike barricades, four 4-row bleachers, and a podium (executive lectern) to a political rally in Waterloo, Iowa, where former president Donald Trump spoke.
