We thought we had all of the cool equipment until we set up a corporate event called “Cranes on Parade” for the Terex company in Waverly, Iowa! We delivered our refrigerated trailer, 30′ towable bleachers, 40′ x 80′ hybrid tent, 20’x 40′ frame tent, 3,200 square feet of sub-flooring under the tents, and 20′ x 24′…
We set up the Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa event at The Celebration Farm. We delivered and set-up 8′ x 30″ rectangle banquet tables, 30″ round cocktail tables, LCD projector and screen, Pipe and Drape, Low rise stage and 2,000 watt sound system.
It was a cold day on New Years Eve in Illinois with temperatures dropping to 2°f. To keep up with the cold and wind, we needed our 400,000 BTU Oil/Diesel heater, 390,000 BTU Oil/Diesel heater, plus our 290,000 BTU Diesel heater pumping in hot air under our 40′ x 100′ Hybrid Tent, 10′ x 20′ Frame Tent used as an entrance/vestibule and other tents…
This was quite a busy day for Big Ten Rentals crew members. This one crew set-up tents at Sutliff Cider Company in Lisbon, Downtown/main-street of Solon and here in Coralville Iowa as well. This was an incredible event with over 20,000 people in attendance.
Efficiencies can be gained with short-duration rentals, which do not require a “double round trip.”
