Elevated Bleacher & Press Riser at the Chicago Golf Show® in Rosemont, Illinois
Big Ten Rentals was proud to partner once again with the Chicago District Golf Association for the 2026 Chicago Golf Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
For this premier Midwest golf event, we created a custom elevated bleacher (5-row breakdown bleacher that seats 50 people on a 16′ x 16′ x 34″ dual structure stage with wings for the stairs) and press riser to give media professionals, VIP guests, and event staff the perfect vantage point overlooking the action. Our team built a sturdy 16′ x 16′ staging platform at 34″ height, complete with dual wings for extra space and full black pleated skirting for a clean, professional finish. On top of this elevated platform, we installed a 5-row breakdown bleacher system seating up to 50 people, fully equipped with a matching railing kit and adjustable stairs for safe, easy access.
The result was a tiered press riser that delivered unobstructed sightlines across the show floor, letting photographers, reporters, and special guests capture every moment of the bustling event.
We also provided an 8′ x 20′ studio “press riser” staging package at 32″ height (also skirted and accessorized with stairs and railings) to support additional event zones throughout the convention center.
The Chicago Golf Show, running February 27 through March 1, 2026, brought together thousands of golf enthusiasts for incredible equipment deals, one-on-one lessons from Illinois PGA professionals, interactive Main Stage sessions with headliners like Tom “Bubbie” Broders from Good Good Golf and Hank Haney, clubfitting zones from top brands, demo areas, the CDGA Longest Putt Contest, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
A big thank-you to the entire CDGA team and organizer Mike Gilligan for trusting us with this important setup. Our crew arrived early on Wednesday to get everything built and ready well before the doors opened, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.
