The Iowa Arts Festival is a big undertaking for
Big Ten Rentals each year. Lots of items: tables, tents, fencing, beer dispensers, barricades, picnic tables and much more.
From February 4 to February 11 our crew erected four Tents totaling 30,500 ft.² in Des Moines to be used as temporary warehousing. We were unable to get Iowa One Call out in time to check the ground to stake before we set-up this event with a 30′ x 30′ frame tent. Big Ten Rentals was busy setting up an event for Iowa Gym-Nest. It’s their annual “Winter Wonderland International” indoor gymnastics meet at the Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in Coralville, IA. We set up multiple bleachers, pipe and drape, and stanchions. Also, see pictures from when we where here in November of 2014.
We had two stages at the first annual Downtown Block Party. Our runway was sub-rented and set up by another company and our 16′ x 16′ stage was set up by our crew. It was a great event with lots to see!
Efficiencies can be gained with short-duration rentals, which do not require a “double round trip.”
