From June 20–26, 2026, the Twin Cities hosted the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games — one of the largest sporting events in the United States that year. Big Ten Rentals was proud to contribute by delivering and setting up professional bleacher systems for spectator seating at key competition areas, including soccer fields tied to the University of Minnesota host campus and regional venues.
Our equipment enabled families, fans, coaches, and community members to comfortably watch the athletes compete, celebrate victories, and experience the full spirit of inclusion and ability that defines Special Olympics.
Our Role: Bleachers Installation on Soccer Fields
For this event, we provided and professionally installed multiple sets of 5-row bleachers (along with some 3-row and 4-row units) directly on the soccer field turf. The setups featured sturdy aluminum construction, safety railings, and stable anchoring suitable for the outdoor environment.
Key aspects of our contribution:
- Capacity and Configuration: Groups of bleachers positioned for strong sightlines along the fields, accommodating spectators for matches and related activities.
- Logistics: Rapid delivery, setup, and placement coordinated with event timelines and venue constraints (turf fields, netting, lighting, banners).
- Safety & Compliance: Fully code-compliant temporary seating designed for public events — critical for large crowds, families, and diverse attendees supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities.
