80′ x 150′ Rope and Pole Event Tent at a Construction Site
When a large construction project in Iowa needed serious covered square footage, Big Ten Rentals delivered and installed one of our biggest workhorse structures: an 80′ x 150′ rope-and-pole tent.
This “twin-pole” style tent spans 12,000 square feet and stands tall enough to give crews and equipment real working room underneath. With eight center poles and a classic high-peak profile, it creates a wide, open interior that can handle everything from material staging and tool storage to temporary workshops and weather-protected work zones. The vinyl top sheds rain and sun while the heavy-duty rope-and-stake system keeps the structure solid even when Midwest weather turns unpredictable.
Because the tent can be installed on grass, gravel, asphalt, or concrete (using the appropriate anchoring method), it adapts cleanly to active job sites. Our crew handled the complete delivery, layout, raising, and tensioning so the general contractor didn’t have to divert their own people or equipment.
The photos on this page show the finished installation from multiple angles — the exterior footprint at the construction site, the impressive scale of the structure, and the open interior beneath the twin poles. It’s a clear example of how a properly sized rope-and-pole tent can give a job site reliable, cost-effective cover without the expense or permanence of a temporary building.
Need a large tent for a construction site, industrial project, or any other outdoor operation in Eastern Iowa or the surrounding region? Big Ten Rentals has the inventory, the experienced crew, and the know-how to get it up quickly and securely.
